Circle: What is your plan to study over the break?  How much time are you going to commit?

Guidance:It is that time of year when Guidance needs to start to get things ready for AP testing.  Would you please send your students to the Guidance Office or Aspirations Lab to complete the general information portion of the Student Answer form?

The forms need to be completed prior to Thursday April 28th.  If the students would rather not miss class, the Guidance Office will be open on Tuesday andThursday of Spring Break from 8 until 2.

Thank you for your help with this process.

AP Exam Prep

1. Review Motivation and Emotion, and Developmental Psychology for Thursday April 14th. These are Units 8a, 8b and 9 in the text and Chapters 12 and 13 in the Princeton guide.
2. Review Personality and Testing and Individual Differences over April vacation.  These are Units 10 and 11 in the text and Chapters 14 and 15 in the Princeton guide.
3. Review Abnormal Psychology and Treatments of Psychological Disorders and Social Psychology over vacation.  These are Units 12, 13 and 14 in the text and 16, 17 and 18 in the Princeton guide.

Homework: After completing ALL the review over break please take the practice AP exam at the back of your Princeton Review.  You will be submitting your scores on the Monday you return from break.  This includes your multiple choice score as well as your essay score.  You should take the test in the format given in the book.  Use the bubble sheet for your answers and the lined paper in the review book for your essay.   I will be checking off that you completed the essay to the best of you ability as well as your outline of the essay.  I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to try and create a real testing environment.  Take the multiple choice section in the 70 minutes.  Give yourself a small 5-10 minute break then write the essay in the allotted 50 minute time allowance.  Please look over your exam and identify your weak areas and use that as a guide to study.
