If you could start HS all over again, what would you do different and why?
Learning Target:
Student will understand the six major psychological perspectives.
Writing Assignment:
What do you have to know before you can figure out how to help a student succeed from a psychologists/psychiatrist perspective?
Question Activity:
You will be preparing questions for Mr. Springer. Using what you know about the six perspectives, your teacher interviews, as well as the transcript analysis, create questions for Mr. Springer that will give you a better understanding of why some students are so successful while other struggle. The expectation is that you will have a number of questions for Mr. Springer. You will be taking notes to use in a more detailed report.
Note Organization Using all your materials; Jane Doe and Maxwell Smart transcripts, notes, Springer interview, articles, teacher interviews, and perspectives create a document or presentation that addresses why you think some students succeed and others struggle. Your paper/presentation should demonstrate an understanding of the six perspectives and how you believe they impact both positively and negatively on students success. I would suggest that you break the paper/presentation up into six sections that individually address each perspective as well as an introduction and conclusion. This paper/presentation is due February 26th.
