Circle:
What was your favorite cartoon in elementary school?

Group Activity: 
 Breaking into groups of four answer the following questions using the I Am results.
-Do you believe teachers are aware/remember how the teenage years can be difficult?
-How much do you believe other students in our school understand whats going on with our classmates?
-Why do you think students keep these emotions inside?  Why do you?
-Do you think this school would be better/worse if students were able to talk openly about their fears/concerns?

-Why do you think its easier to joke about what kids wrote rather than taking it serious?

Documentary: Inside the Teenage Brain
What are the implications of your inability to read adult emotions correctly?


Interview Teachers: 
One piece of advice they wished they had or listened to as a teenager.  It does not have to be school related.


Homework:
-Letter to your teenager.  We will begin this in class if time allows.
